How long are
the lessons?
1 hour each lesson,
regardless of how many students there are in the class.
How qualified
are the teachers?
Most of them have grade 8
in ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and lots
of experiences in performing, composing, joining competitions, and
playing for church services. However this is a pop course and not so
much is based on the classical aspect. Try out the course to see if
it suits your style. No harm to quit after that.
Do I need to
get my own instrument?
Yes, you do need to.
However, do not fret as your teacher will recommend some models for
you to get, with considerations such as your ability and budget.

What is the
nearest MRT station and how to go from it?
Kovan MRT. Walk towards
the famous Ponggol Nasi Lemak direction, but to the opposite side of
the road. just keep walking and you will pass by 1. famous Selegie
Soya bean stall 2. Glad tidings Church 3. Maybank.
The school is
right beside Maybank. Walk up the stairs between 7-11 and the clinic
besides Maybank.
For lessons,
will instruments be provided?
For flute and saxophone
lessons, it is highly recommended that the student brings along
his/her instrument for hygiene purposes, but for keyboards, drums
and guitars, instruments will be provided . For vocal lesson, just
bring yourself. =) For the first lesson, a sample instrument will be
provided for flute and sax lesson though.
What exactly
can the student be able to achieve in one year?
Being able to detect
chord progressions, playing melodies and fill-ins, playing with
expressions. Ultimately, the student should be able to play most of
the songs that he/she hears.
Will the
student take longer than one year?
The syllabus is tailored
for the average hardworking student. However, lack of practice and
focus can result in ending the course in more than 48 lessons.
Even for group
lessons, the courses last for one year too?
For group lessons, the
teacher will have to teach according to the average learning pace of
the students involved. Thus, most of the time, the course might take
more than a year but within one and a half years.
By joining the
group classes, must I find my own friends to make up the class?
You can do so. However,
it is not necessary.
How to I make
payment?
Through cash or cheque.
The fees are to be collected in cash on the 1st lesson
of each month. Latest by the 2nd lesson of the month. If not, a late
fine of $5 will be imposed. A receipt will be issued upon payment.
Why should you,
a current student, introduce your friend to join?
Every time you introduce
your friend to join, a $10 discount will be given to both you and
your friend! It means a discount that is 10% or more if you or your
friend are in a class setting, and 5% in a individual setting
EVERY TIME you introduce a friend to join.
